welcome to my new neocities blog!

bearblog was a great service to help me get going. as time has gone on though, I started craving something more personalized. at the recommendation of some friends on SMPS, I looked at Zonelets by Marina Kittaka and Strawberry Starter by Kate Bagenzo, the second of which I settled on! it's based in markdown which is already how I write, so it was perfect. it also has RSS!

with this new blog, I'm going to be able to do something I never have yet--use images! for a while now, I've wanted to make screenshot diaries for the games I've played. I already have bunches of screenshots from games I played recently, like chrono trigger, minish cap and ff adventure. it'll be a nice contrast to my more analytical reflections posts, where we can just hang out and appreciate the journey a game took me on.

I'll be migrating all my old posts here gradually, so this is the new place for everything!
